Many in education today think young minds are empty.

They believe the minds need to be filled with knowledge and information.

But the truth is different, you know.

It’s the mind that creates the rest of the human body.

Minds aren’t vessels; they’re comparable to fires waiting for ignition.

They are not for storing information.

They shine on the spark of curiosity.

They also grow on the fuel of exploration and the oxygen of inspiration.

Like fires, minds become brighter when given diverse experiences.

They also need tasks of critical thinking and creativity.

Education should be creativity-oriented, not examination.

It should move from giving information to sparking curiosity.

It should stimulate a hunger for learning and a passion for discovery.

We have to ignite minds, not fill them.

“The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be ignited.” — Plutarch
