Emotional well-being depends on accepting delight while also addressing grief. Sadness has a purpose; it can develop empathy, build resilience, and offer insightful observations. Although suppressing melancholy can provide short-term solace, it frequently results in emotional imbalance and unresolved problems.

Rather, becoming aware of and addressing these emotions promotes personal development and a happier, more genuine state of being.

Realizing that grief is a normal and necessary part of life lays the groundwork for true emotional well-being.

Therefore, even if pursuing happiness is crucial, doing so shouldn't come at the expense of discounting or failing to acknowledge our darkest experiences.
