Cancel culture does not directly oppose an opinion; rather, its aim is to suppress the individual expressing it. In essence, it resembles an ad hominem attack, serving as a weapon used by those who lack both strength and tolerance. The act of shutting down opinions solely because they do not align with political correctness is both futile and potentially harmful. Unless there is an explicit call for violence or hatred, cancel culture holds no legitimate position and can be likened to the malicious tactics.

Thanks George for raising the issue.
